BIO

After graduating as a Master in Commerce and Engineering from the Solvay Business School in ’98, Anouk started her professional career at Unilever and then joined The Coca-Cola Company for more than 10 years, of which she spent almost 8 years abroad in London, Sydney. Her main focus has been on brand strategy, innovation, M&A and general management across multiple countries. After returning to Belgium to have her children discover their Belgian roots, she joined Duvel Moortgat, a family-owned craft brewery group, as the first woman on the management committee. First as a Chief Marketing Officer, for which she was awarded Marketer Of the Year in 2015 and later as President Core Europe, responsible for the p&l and general management of all core European countries, including the management of 3 breweries: Brouwerij ‘t IJ in Amsterdam, Birrificio del Ducato in Parma and the acquisition of the Jarr Kombucha microbrewery in London.

 

In line with her tireless efforts to unlock potential and put people first, Anouk is now the proud CEO of Accent Jobs, a talent placement company, where she wants to contribute by giving everyone a chance to participate in society via a meaningful job and by helping companies to grow. Anouk believes that if employees are in the right environment and at their best (= wellbeing), a company will thrive (= welfare). 

 

Anouk is also an independent director on the board of Deceuninck NV and a member of the advisory board at Make Sense – a sustainability agency in Ghent. With a personal passion for health and food as medicine, she graduated as a phytotherapist in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the ICZO in Antwerp. Anouk loves modern art, sailing, snowboarding, swimming, jogging, yoga and anything outdoors among nature. She speaks 5 languages (Dutch, French, English, German and Italian) and just loves to meet new people and discover different cultures. She’s happily married, the proud mum of Juleen, Jasper and Alice and owner of 1 dog, 3 cats and 5 chickens.
